Our products are a family story

First of all, our Agriturismo is a family-run farm. The De Santis have been owning this plot of land since 1976. Our story began with an olive grove for olive oil production, apricot trees and artichoke plants.

Nowadays, olive oil is still our main product that we also sell directly at the farm. We grows Tuscan olive trees, such as Muraiolo, Frantoiano, Leccino, Maurino and Pendolino, and we pick their olives strictly by hand.

In addition to apricots, today our fruit trees produce figs, pears, apples, plums, and citrus, with which we prepare home-made tasty jams. Our land also houses some “ancient fruits”, mostly spread in the past, such as medlars, arbutus, and persimmons.

And what about the vegetable garden? Over time, we have increased our crop production. Besides artichokes, we grows the main seasonal vegetables at the base of Italian cooking. Therefore, we have added the company of rabbits, hens, gooses, and ducks.

In 1999, we began to build the suitable facilities to open the farm to quality tourism. Thus, the family story goes on.
